On January 8, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chotiros Plabplueng, Dean of Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, honored to preside over the event and gave an opening speech for the training program titled “ Bioinformatics Training ” arranged for medical technologists from different organization in Bhutan, such as Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital and National Medical Service and Royal Center for Disease Control. In addition, the participants are able to gain knowledge on the theory and skills of Bioinformatics and exchange experiences between participants and instructor. This will create opportunities for future cooperation between Bhutan and Thailand.

The training program has been arranged between January 8 – 12, 2024 including both lectures and workshops at Computer Room 315, Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus and NGS laboratory, Division of Hematology, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital.
