On November 15, 2025, Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University was invited as a distinguished speaker in the International Conference on Medical Laboratory Science and Quality Management 2025: A 15-Year Journey of Development, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This international conference centered on two key themes: Advances in Medical Laboratory Technology and Quality Assurance in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Assistant Professor Dr. Prasong Khaenam, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Acting Head of the Center for Standardization and Product Validation delivered a special talk on “Harmonization Testing: Insights and Experiences from Thailand” to give insights on External Quality Assessment (EQA) program as one of the leading EQA provider in Thailand. The presentation was delivered via online Zoom meeting./span>
The conference was hosted by the Center for Quality Control, which is responsible for providing External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs for laboratories across Vietnam, and in collaboration with the Department of Medical Laboratory, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam./span>
