To oversee the quality and standard of medical laboratories throughout the country and ASEAN, a series of EQAS have been operated since 1985, as the first proficiency testing provider for medical laboratories in Thailand. These programs are operated using the proficiency testing items produced entirely by the Faculty.
Currently, the Faculty provieds 12 schemes covering 5 areas in medical laboratory as shown below.

There are almost 3,000 members all over the country participating in these programs. This is the major contribution from the Faculty in providing tool for improving the quality and standards of medical technology profession.
