On January 12, 2025, the Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasong Khaenam (Assistant Dean for Academic Services) along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Wanotayan (Assistant Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication), Asst. Prof. Dr. Chadinee Thippakorn, Lecturer Dr. Piyada Na Nakorn and team arranged the closing ceremony for the training program titled “Training Module 1: Quality Management of Clinical Laboratory” under the project “Capacity Building for Medical Laboratory Technologists in Myanmar” through Online platform via Zoom application (Training duration: January – February 2025). A total of 15 medical technologists from various hospitals participated in this training, which aimed to enhance their understanding of the quality management systems in clinical laboratory.

This initiative marks an important step in the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, and Roche Myanmar Company Limited to support and develop the technical capacity of Medical Technologists in Myanmar. The selected participants who were eligible to participate came from different laboratories in various districts. This training program, comprising seven training modules, provides comprehensive knowledge across multiple specialties within Medical Technology field.
