Doctor of Philosophy Program in Medical Technology (International Program)

Admission Requirements

The requirements admission of each study plan are as follow.

Study Plan 1 (Research based)

1) Graduated in Master degree in Medical Technology, Health Science other related discipline from academic institute approved by the Office of Higher Education Commission with cumulative grad point > 3.5

2) Pass the English Proficiency requirement announced by Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS)

3) Have at least 1 original research publication or academic work in peer reviewed international journal

4) If an applicant does not meet the above criteria but has other suitable qualification and experiences, applicants may be considered to apply for admission under the program committee

Study Plan 2 (Course work and research based)

1) Graduated in Master degree in Medical Technology, Health Science or other related discipline from academic institute approved by the Office of Higher Education Commission with cumulative grad point > 3.5

2) Graduated Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or other related discipline with honor, from academic institute approved by the Office of Higher Education Commission

3) Pass the English Proficiency requirement announced by FGS

4) If an applicant does not meet the above criteria but has other suitable qualification and experiences, applicants may be considered to apply for admission under the program committee

English language requirement       

         All students are required to obtain an acceptable score of English Proficiency Test approved by the FGS. Acceptable tests and scores are as follows:

Study calendar

Each academic year is divided into two semesters.

– Semester 1: August until December

– Semester 2: January until May

  • Graduate Tuition Fee
    For students who have not received a scholarship or have received a scholarship that only covers part of the tuition fee. The Director of program and the Faculty of Graduate Studies may give these students partial support or waive the graduate tuition fee. The amount of this support cannot be less than 1,800 baht/credit.

  • Thesis Registration Fee

– Master’s Thesis Registration Plan A1
– Master’s Thesis Registration Plan A2
– Doctoral Thesis Registration 36 credits
– Doctoral Thesis Registration 48 credits
– Doctoral Thesis Registration 72 credits

The thesis registration fee can be paid in two equal installments, at the first semester and the second semester of thesis registration.
